About Phil Williams

Phil Williams is an author of contemporary fantasy and dystopian fiction, including the Ordshaw urban fantasy thrillers and the post-apocalyptic Estalia series. His Ordshaw novels are known for blending fantasy, horror and contemporary genres, and both Under Ordshaw and Kept From Cages were SPFBO semi-finalists. Phil also writes bestselling reference books to help foreign learners master English. In his off-time from writing, he freelances as a copyeditor and has branched out into book cover design, though has also been known to design websites, teach English and run small companies. Phil lives with his wife by the coast in Sussex, UK, and spends a great deal of time walking his impossibly fluffy dog, Herbert.
